GR Employment Ltd is recruiting on behalf of one of our clients for a Courier Driver based in the Ise Valley Industrial Estate, Wellingborough.

This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and customer-focused individual to join a busy and growing delivery operation. The role is offered on a temporary basis, providing regular full-time hours, weekly pay, and ongoing support from your dedicated consultant.

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who take pride in delivering excellent customer service and can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Previous courier experience is desirable; however, full training will be provided for the right candidate.

About the Role

As a Courier Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery and collection of goods from customers across your designated route.

You will be the face of the business, ensuring every customer receives a professional and friendly service. Working alongside a Driver's Mate, you will help ensure all deliveries and collections are completed accurately, efficiently, and on time.

This role requires excellent organisation, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and manage your delivery route efficiently.Deliver and collect goods safely and on time.Load and unload goods, including heavier items where required.Scan items accurately using handheld devices.Maintain accurate delivery records and complete all relevant paperwork.Contact customers to confirm deliveries and collections where necessary.Report any damaged goods, shortages, or delivery issues promptly.Brief your Driver's Mate at the start of the day to ensure efficient route completion.Complete an end-of-day debrief and ensure all delivery documentation is submitted accurately.Adhere to all company procedures, road traffic laws, and health and safety requirements.Deliver a high standard of customer service at all times.What We're Looking ForFull UK Driving Licence.Maximum of 6 live penalty points.Excellent communication and customer service skills.Reliable, punctual, and professional approach to work.Good organisational and time-management skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Positive attitude and strong work ethic.Courier or multi-drop delivery experience is desirable but not essential.Driving RequirementsHold a valid Full UK Driving Licence.Be legally entitled to drive in the UK.Have no more than 6 live penalty points.Successfully complete any required driving licence, identity, reference, and background checks.Have the right to work in the UK.Physical Requirements

06:00am Start - Finish
30-Minute Unpaid Break
Approximately 45-50 Hours Per Week

Finish times may vary depending on delivery routes, traffic conditions, and operational requirements.

Pay Rate

£13.00 per hour
