GR Employment Ltd is looking for a Shunter Driver to work for one of our clients based in Leeds, the Howley Park area.

We’re looking for reliable and enthusiastic individuals to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone seeking consistent work with a bit of flexibility built in.

The ideal candidate will hold the following skills and experience:

Must hold a valid UK driving licence with C+E entitlement

Digital tachograph and CPC cards

Have a minimum of 12 months of experience for Class 1

Be professional at all times

Have a flexible approach to work

No INI10, TT99 or DR10

Shifts available: 

Any 5 nights out of 7 (Monday to Sunday): 23:00 to 08:00

Pay rate:

Night Shift: £19.08 per hour

Overtime: £27.26 per hour (paid after 40 hours)

You will be shunting trailers within the yard and placing empty trailers onto doors at the beginning of the shift. Moving trailers off the door when full and replacing them with new empties.

Full UK driving license

Must hold a valid UK driving licence with category C + E

Digital tachograph and CPC cards

12 months of experience required

For insurance purposes, you must be at least 21 years old and have no more than 9 penalty points on your driving licence within the last 3 years

Statutory holiday entitlement, pro rata

Ongoing support from your dedicated consultant

Weekly pay and pension scheme
