GR Employment Ltd is recruiting for a Part-Time Operations Processor on behalf of one of our clients, a global leader in parcel logistics.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced and secure warehouse environment. The role is initially offered on a temporary basis, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate, subject to performance and business requirements.

We are looking for reliable, hardworking, and enthusiastic individuals who thrive in a team environment and can work accurately under pressure. No previous experience is required, as full training will be provided.

About the Role

As an Operations Processor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient movement of parcels through the service centre. Working with secure, customs-cleared shipments, you will be responsible for processing incoming and outgoing consignments safely, accurately, and within strict operational deadlines.

This is a hands-on warehouse role requiring excellent attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work efficiently in a busy environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesProcess all incoming and outgoing shipments.Load and unload vehicles safely and efficiently.Scan and process parcels using warehouse systems and handheld scanners.Accurately input shipment information into the DHL operating system.Assist with the X-ray screening of parcels where trained and authorised.Sort and distribute shipments throughout the service centre.Maintain a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.Ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and within operational deadlines.Carry out manual handling and lifting of parcels, including some heavier items.Work as part of a team to achieve service and performance targets.Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.Ensure the warehouse is left clean and tidy at the end of each shift.Carry out any other reasonable duties as required.Key Skills and AttributesReliable and punctual.Strong attention to detail.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Good communication and teamwork skills.Positive attitude and willingness to learn.Ability to follow procedures and health and safety requirements.No experience required, as full training will be provided.Physical Requirements

This role may involve:

Standing for prolonged periods.Manual handling activities.Lifting and moving parcels safely in accordance with manual handling procedures.Some heavy lifting.Repetitive tasks throughout the shift.Working within a busy warehouse environment.Working night shifts on a regular basis.Security Screening Requirements
